Block play with young infants results in understanding the sensory nature of blocks. This builds and strengthens their motor skills to grasp and hold. They imitate the action of adults which becomes a turn-taking game for them.
19 months to 24 months
3 hours/5 days a week
Toddlers begin to place one block on top of the other, on their own. They also explore the physical properties of the blocks by banging them together. This is a highly communicative stage in their lives as they start to explore non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
24 months to 42 months
4 hours/5 days a week
At this age, the blocks become a medium to stack, sort, and balance using shapes and colors. Children learn how to express themselves using the ‘hundred languages. They start to learn how to organize and move a step towards being independent.
36 months to 54 months
4 hours 30 minutes/5 days a week
As they grow into young builders, our nursery learners come across many opportunities like cause & effect as well as mathematical concepts such as quantity, classification, and ordering, all through blocks.
